Ivy Pedals is proud to present the Eris Echo time-warp delay effects pedal. This analog-modeling delay has two Delay Time knobs, one active at a time, and at the click of the left footswitch, it "Warps" to the other Delay Time knob/setting. This is another entry into the planetary series, along with Chorus Moon, Planet Phaser, and Metal Meteor, all of which are designed to be used with guitar, bass, and synthesizers.
There are some new controls like the Warp function, and some more familiar controls as well. Warp determines the speed at which the delay time changes, creating pitch bending effects, with almost immediate switching to multiple seconds to complete each warp cycle. Warp is slower at lower delay times, and Warping up is faster than down; a couple little quirks for this function, activated by pressing the left footswitch. The more familiar controls include Tone, which also affects the feedback loop and dampens each repeat. The Feedback knob is capable of near-infinite repeats to runaway oscillation as well. Dry is always on, with analog passthrough, and everything is analog besides the delay chip.
Eris Echo Controls:
Delay A - red delay time control
WARP - rate of change- "warp"- between Delay A and Delay B, activated by pressing the LEFT footswitch
Delay B - blue delay time control
Echo - delay/echo/wet mix level
Feedback - amount of repeats; near-infinite/infinite feedback and runaway oscillation is accessible
Tone - low pass filter, affects best the feedback damping and echo output
LEFT footswitch - WARP Button, LED shows current selection
RIGHT footswitch - Bypass Button (denoted as the one with the power rating label)
Ivy Pedals Eris Echo is a buffered-bypass delay effects pedal with a tails function, where the echo continues (and dies off unless oscillating) after the effect is switched to bypass, while not picking up any new audio until bypass is turned off. Tails can technically be turned "off" if needed, and there is an internal max-delay-time trimmer, with room to increase/decrease.
Ivy Pedals Eris Echo is rated for use with 9v-12v DC (center-negative, pedal standard). Blue/Red indicator LED; any color on=effect ON, and Blue and Red denote the current delay time selection, Red/A or Blue/B. The blue isn't especially bright and it is a diffused LED as well.
